The birdsong  family is deeply saddened by the untimely passing Leroy Calliste who at the time of his passing was a Director on the Board of Management of birdsong Enterprises Limited (bENT). The funeral will be held on Monday 15th October, 11 am at St. Aidan Anglican Church, Arouca. May the soul of Leroy Calliste Rest In Peace.

Leopold (Leo) Stevenson , our reed instructor over the last 14 years, passed away on Saturday. Our condolences to his immediate and birdsong families.  The funeral will be held on Thursday 2nd, August at 10am at the Holy Cross RC Church (Cantaro, Santa Cruz). A special commemorative event will be held on Sunday 5th, August at birdsong the birdsong Panyard from 6.30pm

Auditions for birdsong’s Vacation Music Camp will be conducted from 9am to 1pm, on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st, May, Arrival Day and Corpus Christi respectively, at the band’s UWI Campus venue at the Old Works Department Building, Agostini St in St. Augustine.

Our Arranger for 2018 is Mr. Rudy "Two Left" Smith. In a career spanning six decades,  Rudy "Two Left" Smith has built a reputation exploring and bridging the world of Jazz with steelpan. Come our and meet Rudy at our  Panorama practice which begins on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018  at 6pm, at the new birdsong Panyard at No. 3 St Vincent Street Tunapuna (Corner Sapodilla and St. Vincent Street).

Congrats are due to our official Photographer and  Videographer, Vibert Medford on the selection of film about birdsong for the 2017 Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival.
