Join Birdsong Academy's Vacation Music Camp from July 10 to August 10, 2023, for a month of musical exploration and fun. Open to young musicians aged 12-18, the camp offers free lessons on various instruments, ensemble playing, composition, and more. Learn from expert tutors and make unforgettable summer memories.

In light of the current circumstances and government restrictions placed on gatherings and other forms of interactions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, birdsong Academy will be taking the institution forward via online platform. This means that we will be conducting all our sessions, both practical and theory virtually.

We understand that this initiative will not be favourable to some, however, this is a step forward that must be taken in order to continue on the journey of providing student with the opportunity of a musical education and maintaining our existing foundation of musical excellence.

The birdsong Family mourns the passing of Francis Ragbirsingh, a long-standing member of birdsong who has made a significant contribution  to the establishment of birdsong steel orchestra. FRANCIS was birdsong’s first regular, resident Truck Driver and though a non-playing member, he played an indispensable role in promoting our new steelband  and establishing  birdsong as a household name, by faithfully and reliably transporting the band to “play-out” engagements and birdsong’s Pan for de People Concerts throughout the length and breadth of Trinidad and Tobago for many years, until he migrated to the United States in the mid-1980
