As you may or may not know the Birdsong Foundation established the Scholarship Programme in 2009 to provide students with the talent, discipline and desire to pursue tertiary education the opportunity to access the funds necessary to make it a reality. Additionally in July 2011 the Scholarship Fund was launched as our response to the challenge many of our talented students have accessing quality tertiary level music education. To this end we are having the birdsong Scholarship Benefit Concert.

This concert will feature performances by Rudy Smith Quartet, Frankie Mc. Intosh and many others as well as past scholarship recipient Nyol Manswell. It will be held at he Queen’s Hall on Wednesday 1^st July 2015. The concert starts at 7:30pm.
