birdsong Academy invites new students to register for the start of the September 2016 to June 2017 programme. New students between the ages of 9-14 years are invited to an orientation and registration session on Saturday, September 03, 2016 at 9.30 a.m. at the panyard, Cr. Connell and St Vincent Streets in Tunapuna.

All Students must be accompanied by a parent.

birdsong Academy accepts beginner students with little or no music training into its programme at the start of each school year. All that is required is an interest in music and willingness to learn within a structured programme of training. birdsong Academy students are trained in music theory and the theory and playing technique of the steelpan in addition to a traditional orchestra instrument. Classes are held once per week from 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Read more about our programme here

Returning students in the birdsong Academy After School Music Programme will resume classes on Tuesday September 06 and Wednesday September 07. Classes resume for returning students in the birdsong Academy Saturday programme on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
