This August, Birdsong Academy is thrilled to bring back our annual Vacation Music Camp, a month-long celebration of music, creativity, and fun. From July 10 to August 10, 2023, young musicians aged 12-18 will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of sound and rhythm, all free of charge.
A Melody of Activities
Our camp offers a wide range of activities designed to nurture musical talent and foster a love for the arts. Students can learn to play various instruments, including the piano, guitar, pan, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. They'll also have the chance to participate in ensemble playing, composition and arranging, and even a gala concert.
But the fun doesn't stop at music. We've also planned trips to local attractions, sports and games, and guest lectures to provide a well-rounded experience. Plus, our CSEC Music SBA Mentoring and theatre arts activities will give students a taste of the professional music and performing arts world.
Harmonising with Expert Tutors
Guiding our students on this musical journey are our expert tutors, many of whom are internationally trained and hold advanced music degrees. They're passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience, and they're committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
Join the Orchestra
We're now accepting registrations for the Vacation Music Camp. You can pre-register online, but remember, mandatory in-person registration is on June 17th and 19th, 2023, from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the UWI Old Works Building, Agostini St, St Augustin.
